That is true. At least the island is there to break it up a little bit.
You are right about the island, but from I am sat in Yorkshire in the N of England, a pelican is pretty dramatic to me. That said I have managed to post a photo of a heron on my Leeds in Yorkshire daily photo.
A daily photo from St. Thomas, St. John or St. Croix.
