There is a great company that leads bike tours around Water Island (http://www.waterislandadventures.com/). The ride was about an hour and a half, and considering that the island is only 2 square kilometers I was impressed we could take that much time. The tour was really informative, everybody learned a lot about the history of Water Island, and only a few people in our group crashed.
Do I see a frame of a Cannondale? My favorite mountainbike of all!! Mine has been through high mountains and valleys low and long dry deserts... I am actually emotionally connected to my bike - cannot help it. YES!!! Go Bike! Go!!!
ReplyDeleteKaroliina - we were riding Cannondales, but I doubt if these have been taken care of as well as yours. 24 hours per day in the salty air of Water Island is not kind to bike frames, chains and derailleurs.
