Crazy Eyes
When its not lighting up those radiant blue circles all over it's body, this flounder is nearly impossible to spot underwater. Those eyes (which start on both sides of the head and move to one side as the fish gets older) look really wild up close. I'm glad somebody in the dive group found this one so I could snap a picture.

ReplyDeleteThis is the one you had to point to for 5 minutes before I saw it because it looked SO MUCH like the rock it was sitting on. I had no idea what you were trying to show me! We need to work on our underwater hand signals.
